Sample Size for Research and Validation
Power and sample size. Practical significance versus statistical significance. Research versus validation.
Regression Analysis
Hypothesis testing in regression. Confidence intervals and prediction intervals. Residual analysis. Multiple regression: model building, selection of variables. Non-linear regression: curve fitting, transformations.
Multivariate Analysis
Multivariate statistical techniques such as Partial Least Squares Regression, Principal Components Analysis, Factor Analysis, Discriminant Analysis, and Cluster Analysis.
