The module will examine youth work practice against which settings for young people are framed and have developed in Ireland. Particular attention will be paid to the development of youth work approaches, provision and legislation that underpins youth work practice, with a focus on the key issues and debates emerging in each of these areas. Key policy developments and debates nationally and internationally within youth work practice will also be examined.
