Module Aims: To underpin the psychological theories of Elite / High Performance Coaching. To present, observe and analyse different paedogogical coaching methodologies. To present an opportunity to design and execute an Elite / High Performance coaching session and/or programme, following detailed analysis and evaluation. To develop comprehensive reporting and evaluation skills utilised in the development of high performance coaching programmes. To investigate, recognise and analyse the roles played by emotions in high performance coaching situations. To explore the emerging technologies roles in elite coaching. To provide a detailed insight into varying psychological factors which affect high performance athletes and coaches.
