Module Aims: To promote a profound understanding of the underlying principles of sport skills acquisition. To comprehend and to evaluate the acquisition of motor skills. To provide an in depth insight into how people acquire skills.. To develop, design, plan and execute a skills training session. To critically analyse the motor skill needs of a player, using sport software. To comprehend and utilise a sports software package in skills acquisition training To ensure the student has the analytical ability to recognise skill deficiencies and synthesise an appropriate programme.
