This module aims to develop the student’s understanding of the concepts of ‘race’, racism and ethnicity and the theories underpinning these phenomena. It also aims to allow the student to reflect on their application in practice settings and wider society. Finally, the module aims to encourage the student to critique actions taken regarding racisms at an individual, workplace and national level.
