Global Strategic Management

Global Strategic Management is a core, capstone course that prepares students for the task of long term organisational direction setting from a general management perspective. The subject area of this course is concerned with the formulation and implementation of business strategy, integrating differing functional perspectives and placing strategic thinking within a holistic framework of environmental dynamics. Relevance for the student of Business and Management: The study of strategic management has an integrative function. It enables the student to bring together in a focused way the concepts learned throughout the programme and to apply these to the management of organisations of different size and with diverse objectives.
