Software Project 3 and Software Project 4 are mainly self-directed modules for the student. Each student will be assigned to asupervisor who guides the student, monitors progress and suggests solutions in the event of difficulties.
Project
Self directed; software design, development, testing and troubleshooting of software on a computer and/or embedded system. Safe operation of any required equipment or development systems. Use of datasheets and user/development guides. Use of any required software design tools and integrated development environments. Maintenance of logbook with weekly entries. Research of resources required for the implementation of your software. Project planning and scheduling. Investigation of environmental, ethical and safety issues relevant to the project.Short report on semester's progress.
