Software Project 4 is a continuation of Software Project 3. Again it is, to a certain degree, a self-directed module for thestudent. Each student will be assigned to a supervisor who guides the student, monitors progress and suggestssolutions in the event of difficulties.
Project
Ongoing software design, development of software on a computer and/or embedded system. Continued use of datasheets and user/development guides. Continued use of any required software design tools and integrated development environments. Maintenance of logbook with weekly entries. Ongoing use of resources required for the implementation of the project. Ongoing project scheduling. Use of software/hardware design tools where applicable.Assembly of hardware components ( if applicable for embedded project). Incremental unit testing and troubleshooting. Final system verification testing.Writing of project reports (which may include feasibility study, project plan and final project report for the complete stage 3 project).
