The BIM Template & Browser module will develop the learner’s knowledge of techniques to create building detail at scales of 1:20, and below from the digital building model plan and section views.
This module will also develop learner skillsets in Revit family editor environment using the toolset that is basic for creating parametric forms. It enables the student to develop more complex technical and graphical information required for the technical design projects.
The module will coordinate with technical design projects module by creating the students Revit template and customised project browser.

Project Work
Instruction is by means of in-class lectures, tutorials and consultations. The lecturer uses audio visual aids in the form of video tutorials mainly to elaborate on lecture content and to stimulate discussion.
The lecture programme will seek to introduce the theories and concepts of the subject matter and prepare the students for tutorials and for project work.
