Module Overview

Building Performance - Pre-fabrication for Multi-Cell Buildings

The Building Performance: Pre-fabrication for Multi-Cell Buildings module develops the learner’s understanding of the theories, principles and application of building performance, in the context of multi-cell buildings using prefabricated construction technologies, emphasising the importance of achieving an integrated approach to the incorporation of building performance and building services in building design. The learner will be able to evaluate the environmental impact of their proposed design and demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between various sustainable strategies including developing a knowledge of the principals of mechanical and electrical engineering.
