The principles of construction procurement will be outlined with a focus on most common procurement modes – traditional, design and build, and public private partnerships. The learner will be introduced to BIM protocols and ISO 19650 in the context of procurement processes. The third element of the module is Contracts in which learners will be introduced to the principles underlying construction contracts, with a focus on RIAI traditional contracts and Public Works Contracts.
