Module Overview

Work Placement

It has been demonstrated that learning in a workplace context enhances student performance, subsequent graduate placement and graduate employability. In addition, work placement ensures that a programme of study remains relevant and that the student grasps the link between theory and practice.

Through placement, the B.Sc. Business and management students develop their technical, analytical, conceptual, interpersonal and critically (measured through weekly reflective journal entries) intrapersonal skills.

This building of and understanding of such “links” between programme academic content and industry practices
