Access Orientation Programme

Congratulations, we are delighted that you have chosen to study with us at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin).

Welcome to the Access Orientation 2023! We are thrilled to have you join us as you embark on this exciting journey in your academic career. This Orientation programme has been designed with the primary aim of providing you with a comprehensive introduction to campus, the various supports available to you, and most importantly, to the vibrant community you are joining.

Our Access Orientation is more than just a briefing - it's an immersive experience that aims to foster a sense of belonging, to acquaint you with university life, and to provide insights into the wealth of resources, supports, and opportunities at TU Dublin. This is a unique opportunity to familiarise yourself with your campus, meet your dedicated Access Support staff, form connections with other students, and receive practical advice from current TU Dublin Access students.

This orientation is an integral part of your university journey - it equips you with the knowledge and confidence to navigate your academic life effectively. Previous participants have reported feeling more prepared, less anxious, and more connected to the TU Dublin and Access community after attending.

As an Access Entry Route student at TU Dublin, you have exclusive access to a variety of resources including personal assistance, tutoring, financial counselling, and expert guidance. These supports are specifically designed to enhance your educational journey.

If you have gained admission to TU Dublin through Higher Access Entry Route (HEAR), Access TU Dublin Entry Route (ATU), QQI Access TU Dublin (QQIATU), or Access Foundation Programme (AFP) for Under 23’s, it is mandatory for you to participate in an Access Orientation programme.
