UKICER 2022

The United Kingdom and Ireland Computing Education Research (UKICER) conference was held in TU Dublin Tallaght Campus on September 1st and 2nd.

Leading academics from both Ireland and the UK arrived in TU Dublin Tallaght on September 1st to an opening address from Dr Keith Quille and Dr Barry Feeney. Following these addresses, Sue Sentance presented an interesting keynote entitled Who's using my research? Influencing the impact of computing education research on practice. Following an interesting slate of talks, the delegation attended a banquet dinner at Taylors of Three Rock. September 2nd saw Mr Sean McHugh present his research to the delegation. Dr Keith Nolan organised the Poster session of the conference and Roisin Faherty, Karen Nolan, Amanda O’Farrell and Dr Rajesh Jaiswal helped the Conference Chair Dr Keith Quille in organising the conference.
