Case Study 1: Immersive Pharmaceutical VR Training
Immersive training applications for the Pharmaceutical sector.
The research team at TU Dublin drew on its significant experience in the design of VR training tools to develop a detailed, immersive and engaging training application for BioPharmaChem incorporating interactive 3D models and practical modules. BioPharmaChem successfully launched its VR training programme in 2021 with the technology having been trialed by 16 organisations. The company continues to work with TU Dublin to further develop its VR training.
TU Dublin VIRal & BioPharmaChem Skillnet Use VR to Revolutionise Workplace Safety
VIRaL and BioPharmaChem Skillnet have collaborated on a total of three immersive learning projects:
- Aseptic Education and Training
- Powder Handling
- General Health and Safety
All three are designed in a modular fashion so that new or updated content can be added quickly and efficiently. All three are capable of being incorporated into one, substantial multi-fuctional VR training application.
