The Technology Studio I module introduces the learner to principles of architectural representation and tectonics. Drawing is the primary tool of communication for architects, in this module students will learn a range of architectural drawing types; free- hand sketching, survey drawings, orthographic and axonometric projections and perspective drawings. Students learn through drawing and model making exercises based on weekly individual studio exercises, and will learn to understand and use scale and architectural drawing conventions. Students will learn workshop-based techniques to develop skills in the preparation of a small design-build project.
