The Architecture, Urbanism and Landscape Survey Course I module offers the first half of an introductory survey of the history and theory of spatial design from its origins to the present. As a survey it is executed through thematic lenses. Its objective is to establish a variety of frameworks for examining and understanding this history in order to make it useful for the learners within their own design projects.
