Building Technology Structures IV - Structures

The Building Technology Structures IV module introduces the learner to the theories, principles and application of structural design in the medium scale framed multi-storey building. It provides the learner with the necessary knowledge and understanding of structural engineering to inform the development of Architectural Design  Studio VI studio projects. The aim of this module is to enable the learner to develop an intermediate understanding of building construction, material properties, and medium to large span structural principles. The module will include contemporary structural methods, construction methodologies and building.
