Building Technology Structures 5 – History of Building

Building Technology Structures V introduces architectural conservation, traditional building techniques, and structures and their relationship to contemporary building techniques. The Building Technology module will encourage the learner to explore in detail the history of tectonics and construction. The course will give students the ability to respond to architectural, historical, and material heritage and ecologically minded precedents in appropriate ways. The module will include historical and contemporary structural methods, sustainable construction methodologies and buildings.
