The Preparation for Practice 2 module develops the learners understanding of the architectural design work stages, the legislative context and the processes of building economics. In the module the the standard forms of contract used in the built environment and their application in the professional duties of an architect are introduced alongside the principles and application of procurement and cost control.The module comprises two components 1) Building Control and Health and Safety, and 2) Procurement and Coordination and Design Cost Control.
