Water & Environmental Engineering 2

• To introduce the student to core environmental concepts such as sustainability and the circular economy

• To develop the ability of the student in design of elements of water, stormwater & wastewater infrastructure

• To Develop ability in analysis of parameters used in water quality assessment advanced water and advanced wastewater treatment and environmental assessment.

Laboratory work:

Students carry out experiments in groups and submit individual lab reports. Experiments will be selected from the following list: Nitrate Determination, Ammonia Kjeldahl, Phosphate Determination, Acidity, Alkalinity, Langelier Index, Fluoride Determination, Chlorine Determination, Eco Sanitation

  • for reasons of Health & Safety, artificial wastewater samples may be employed

• Lab: 1 hour/week
