The aim is to familiarize students with photographic image manipulation using the industry standard package -Adobe Photoshop, to move, duplicate, and resize images; to use painting tools to manipulate images; to perform adjustments to contrast and colour balance.To explore the possibilities of the typographic form as a means of visual communication and to foster an appreciation of major art and design trends throughout the 20th century and into the 21st century.
