Module Overview

Design & Teambuilding

This module is delivered over two semesters. For semester one students will be introduced to a community based learning project, and taught the skills to undertake such a project. The students will form teams with each team responsible for a project.

In semester two, students will continue to enhance their problem solving and team building work skills by working with the Community Based Learning (CBL) partner. The project may be design, design and build, software or an analysis/feasibility study. The teams, in consultation and in agreement with their lecturer and community partner, will agree on a project title and outline design. Team members will then undertake specific tasks. The team will produce a project report and make a presentation to examiners. Work allocation within the teams is the responsibility of the team.
