The Digital T Student

The aim of this module is to provide students with diverse, transferable skills in data visualisation & professional profile digitisation by embracing the bespoke skillset of the ITHM T-student. The module will form a capstone in polishing a professionally communicating, digital savvy and industry ready individual.

Data Visualisation

The nature of business intelligence tools; performing data analysis on extracted data; searching for trends and patterns; data visualization and recognising trends from data. Interactive dashboards.

Consolidation and Digitization of Skills Profile

Consolidate Self Development. Support communication strategy. Capturing completed modules as skills, roles, applications & learning. Presenting in a formal setting to an audience of peers and academics from the program on current progress regarding study & skills development over the duration of their studies.

External Activity Engagement

Participating in an organised team-building activity that facilitates students and academics to discuss in an open and in-depth manner their networking leads & insights in a semi- structured context. Demonstrating engagement on their Businesss Plan ideas, on-going progress, difficulties arising, potential solutions and support structure/network development.

Personal Network Breath and Depth Development

Participants use their continuous personal development to establish and develop a strong network relationship with at least one industry professional. Students are encouraged to LinkIn and develop their mentor (cross curricular) can thus be engaged for feedback on the students independent research initiatives, confidence building, constructive criticism & possible employment advice and opportunities.

Digital sessions in intimate 20 unit computer lab.  Group discussions - Topical, Ethical & Career orientated. Tutorials/Crits, Field Trip. Guest Lecturer. Graduate visits. Meal experience.
