Information Technology

Technology is and will remain integral to efficient business processes. Basic IT skills including the ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and presentation tools are imperative for today’s business graduates. This programme is designed to help with computer skills training including the Microsoft Office Applications: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as file management.

This module is designed to help with computer skills training. It uses a combination of materials to provide practical business skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as File Management.

Students will be taught primarily using software demonstrations to illustrate concepts and methods; practical exercises based on common business/marketing problems, and simulated assessments. Where possible, on-line tutorial material and/or additional worksheets will be made available to supplement class work.
