Authentic video and texts as well as textbook materials will be used to introduce students to the importance of cultural diversity in France and the French-speaking countries. Grammar workshop
The focus in this hour will be on the reinforcement by way of workshop activities of grammatical structures dealt within the parallel business language module.Reported speech, focusing on the use of tenses, changes of number, modification of locutions of time and place.Elements for the development of good writing skills such as cohesive devices and subordinate clauses.

The development of Listening and Speaking skills
Identifying and summarising key information in pieces of authentic spoken language. Discussing and giving personal opinions on the topics studied.
The development of Reading and Writing skills
Identifying and summarising key information in pieces of authentic written language, including current press. Producing short texts with a higher degree of grammatical accuracy on familiar topics and topics relating to the module. Developing the skills to summarise the plot of a feature film or film extracts and a piece of literature and describing reactions to these.
