This module aims to apply the methods of mathematical modelling to the identification of the performance characteristics of number of measurement devices.Different transducers and the mathematcial models underlying their behaviour and performance as well as how they are interfaced to a computer based system will be assessed. Data acquistion will be covered through laboratory sessions.
