This program is directed towards those who wish to learn about, or have considered the establishment of a new venture in Ireland. It is designed to promote the areas of entrepreneurship and to communicate clearly the tools and techniques that would assist in the formation of a business and reduce the risk of failure in a start-up situation. The main thrust of the course is to develop in the student an understanding of the total skill and knowledge base requirements that are necessitated when establishing one’s own enterprise. This will integrate with their overall marketing studies to educate them in their learning of the particular needs to examine their own entrepreneurial potential, identify business opportunities and manage the new venture creation process.
