Collaborative Piano 2 is a core module (in lieu of Ensemble) for Principal Study Keyboard students taking Performance Studies as their Major (30 ECTS credits) in Stages 3 and 4. The module explores the art of collaborative piano work and addresses key musical and technical skills needed to bring the rehearsal of chosen vocal and instrumental repertoire (including duo sonatas) to a concert standard of public performance. It also provides a solid foundation for further study in the area of Chamber Music. Students attend and perform collaboratively in a weekly class throughout the academic year and collectively engage in critical review of performances given.
