Archiving in Context: Internship

A photography student who has taken ‘The Photographic Archive’ module in Stage 2 will work on cataloguing and archiving of the collection of photobooks, magazines, fanzines and ephemera at The Library Project for one semester. The aim of this module is to introduce the student to the everyday working environment of a specialist photobook library and printed matter collection in order to gain valuable practical experience and complete a specific project. The student will make a contribution to facilitating research about photobooks by making the catalogue more accessible, and gain valuable knowledge of photobook publishing in Ireland and abroad.
