Module Overview

Consultancy Skills and Project

A consultative approach to problem solving is a powerful skillset that can be used by any professional in their work. The development of knowledge and skills pertaining to consultancy and consultancy processes enables graduates to work more effectively with colleagues, external consultants and/or to develop careers in the global consultancy industry. This module uses a mixture of lectures and seminars to provide students with a critical understanding of consultancy and the role of research in effective consultancy. The completion of a Consultancy Project will provide students with first-hand experience of consulting, providing them an opportunity to further develop their knowledge and skills before entering the workplace.
