The purpose of this module is to give students the opportunity to work in teams and complete a project set by industry. This is an elective module and in order to be considered, enrolling students must achieve a GPA of at least 2.50 in semester 5 of the programme, as well as satisfying other criteria such as attendance and engagement with the course.
Briefing session
Students will attend a briefing session with industry representatives. The purpose is to go through the brief and additional information required to approach the brief.
Brief review
Students will attend a workshop with their lecturer(s) to review the brief and identify key points for exploration.
Team meetings with lecturer(s)
For a seven week period, each team will meet with their lecturer(s) to discuss progress and seek direction.
Mock presentations
Each team will present to an internal panel in advance of their their industry presentation.
Feedback on strategy document
Having submitted a draft strategy document, each team will meet with their lecturer(s) for feedback.
Presentation to Industry panel
In week 12, students will present their work to an industry panel.
