The aim of this module is to familiarise students with the main methods of valuation for development
land and buildings. It introduces students to the property development process and it develops the valuation
methods from the traditional through to the cashflow approaches. The more advanced elements of sensitivity
testing and the main investment decision making tools developers would use

Students will be introduced to the concepts in this module through a lecture programme which will be enhance with tutorials and workshops. Tutorials will enable students to benefit from group learning and to work individually on problem solving. The workshops will focus on development valuation software to analyse case studies.
