Module Overview

Dissertation and Research Methods

This is largely a self-directed learning module that is reported in a dissertation to a maximum of 15,000 words or a journal article to specifications agreed with the supervisor and module coordinator. The choice of method will be agreed following the proposal submission.

This research methods section of the module is facilitated through learning, teaching and tutorial hours and an information repository in the form of an on-line resource. The online resource will provide the skills necessary to produce academic work to a high standard. The dissertation is an independent piece of work by the student on a topic of (broad) relevance to the real estate profession. The Dissertation Module is a mandatory requirement for the award of a Masters.
