Module Overview

Research Project

The aim of this module is to provide the student with an opportunity to work in a self-directed and self-motivated approach and to use the knowledge acquired in the taught modules and acumen of work-placement in an applied manner.  This allows the student, with the support of an assigned supervisor, to focus on a topic which may be of particular interest. This module also aims to encourage students to develop a commitment for independent research. This research project will address a current issue within a fashion context that has been identified by an industry practitioner in discussions with the student allowing the student the opportunity to apply a range of knowledge and skills developed on the programme to a problematic fashion industry scenario.
