Advanced Professional Practice

The third year of the professional practice stream focuses on professional practice skills, including assessment, the development of interventions, care and service planning and the monitoring of service provision. Students will critically appraise social care service provision and systems of care. The module strongly emphasises the role of communication in effective social care practice.
