The module aims to provide a framework for examining bioethical issues raised by advances in biotechnology, including the Human Genome Sequencing Projects, Therapeutic Cloning, Gene Therapy & Genetic Screening. Develop team working skills through performance and assessment of assignment in team format.

Research topic review in team format
Lectures, student centred learning, case studies and web based tutorial. Students are expected to keep abreast of current issues related by the media and class discussion of relevant topical issues will be encouraged. Emphasis on teamwork where the research topic review and assessment is assessed in team format.
