Event Tourism

This module discusses the phenomenon of event tourism. It introduces students to the idea that events are a key tourism motivator and  play an increasingly important role in tourism destinations. It seeks to develop an understanding of the complex and varied inter-relationships between planned events of all kinds and tourism.
