A period of planned work experience in a relevant industry or research establishment.
Module Aims
To expose the student to the organisation and management of an industrial production/research facility
To provide the student with an opportunity to apply in an industrial setting the skills, understanding and concepts studied in the course curriculum
To develop in students the ability to integrate different subject areas in production/research
To allow students to benefit from the skills/expertise of food industry professionals
To allow students to enhance their professional development and graduate attributes
