New Frontiers is the national entrepreneurial development programme for ambitious early-stage entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas which have the potential to scale and provide employment. It provides the skills, support, and confidence needed to make the leap to starting a successful business. New Frontiers is designed for individuals who:

  • Are early-stage entrepreneurs
  • Have an innovative business ideawith scaling, export and employment potential
  • Can show evidence of a commercial marketfor their proposed product/service
  • Have experience, sectoral and/or technical knowledge in the area of their business idea
  • Have the drive and ambition required to commit fully to building a successful start-up

The New Frontiers Programme is funded by Enterprise Ireland and delivered by TU Dublin across all three campus incubation centres, at Blanchardstown, City/Grangegorman and Tallaght.

If you have an innovative business idea and are planning to establish and run your own company, the New Frontiers Programme could be for you. We provide a package of supports to help accelerate your business, and to equip you as the founder with the skills and contacts that you need to successfully start and grow your company. We will support you as you build your business, and no equity is taken by New Frontiers or TU Dublin.

Programmes are free of charge but places are offered on a competitive basis using the information supplied on the application form. We recommend meeting the Programme Manager in advance of submitting an application for an informal discussion on the programmes and application process.
