I am a lecturer in Computer Science in TU Dublin. I also work as a PDST Associate helping to train secondary school teachers who teach the leaving certificate computer science module. I have contributed to the only book currently available of leaving certificate computer science. I work as part of a group called CSinc (Computer Science Inclusive) where delivering outreach camps to schools, CPD to teachers and supporting pre-leaving certificate computer science through our CSLINC MOOC. I am a PhD student examining the self-efficacy of teachers who teach computer science for the leaving certificate and examining different pedagogical approaches to support these teachers
