Training Restaurants
Restaurant Overview
Here at TU Dublin we have a number of Training Restaurant Laboratories. We have two Training Restaurants, Musgrave MarketPlace Restaurant and Ballymaguire Foods Restaurant in the Central Quad building, Grangegorman, Dublin 7. On our Tallaght Campus we have the Scholars Restaurant which is located in the Main Building on the ground floor. All are working classrooms designed in a restaurant setting.
On the Grangegorman campus this current semester, students from our 2nd and 3rd year BA in Culinary Arts will operate the Training Restaurants under the guidance of both Chef and Restaurant Lecturers.
Due to the nature of the training environment, on some day’s classes will not run due to assessment’s, project work or presentations, guests will be informed at the time of booking if there is availability on that particular day. Please contact the below lecturer to make a booking. We wish to remind you that our Training Restaurant Laboratories are a classroom environment, and our primary objective is to facilitate student learning.
To make a booking please contact the relevant lecturer with proposed date, lunch or dinner, amount of people, allergens and any other information you may think is important.
Please note, we run a card only payment system.
Lunch Ticket Price: €20 per person (includes a meal experience to meet the learning outcomes offered by the students on the day)
Dinner Ticket Price: €35 per person (includes a meal experience to meet the learning outcomes offered by the students on the day)

Thank you to everyone who supported our Training Restaurants for this academic year. The Training Restaurants are now fully booked for the rest of this semester and the Restaurant Team are not taking any further bookings. We look forward to welcoming you again in October 2024.
