Zuzana Tesárová is an assistant lecturer in the School of Social Science, Law and Education at Technological University Dublin. She worked extensively with the most marginalised groups in society, including asylum seekers, refugees, older migrants, members of the Roma ethnic minority, sex workers and injecting drug users. Using her experience and expertise, she specialises in the areas of Anti-racism, Equality & Diversity, and Health and Well-being. Zuzana is a member of Rince, Anti-racist COP, and a co-chair of the EDI champions network.  

In addition to her lecturing, she co-facilitates the pan University Anti-racist book club for students. She also co-designed and co-developed the Inclusive Library collection, which tackles students predominantly citing white Western narrative in publications by championing the use of diverse resources in academic writing. The Inclusive collection was launched by the TU Dublin president, David FitzPatrick in 2021. 

Zuzana is a founding member of the Tallaght Roma Integration project and is chair of the Sex Worker Alliance Ireland.  

Research Interests: 

Her current research and practice interests are in the areas of anti-racist practice & intersectionality.
