Final Year International Hospitality Management Students Compete for EMCup in Maastricht (April 24-25)
TU Dublin will be represented by Charlotte O’Donnell, Aoibheann Murphy, Michelle Ryan, Donal Colley, and Noel Throp in this years EMCup. This group is made up of all final year students from TU952 International Hospitality Management.
The EMCup is a competition that takes place in Maastricht, The Netherlands, where 36 hospitality schools will compete over two days on the topic of Intrapreneurship. We are asked to present and debate issues with other students from around Europe, the competition will be judged by senior figures in the European hospitality industry. The competition will be held on the 24th and 25th of April.
One of the aims of the competition is to create a social media campaign to gain as many followers and likes as possible. Therefore, this year’s team ask individuals to follow us on both Facebook and Instragram (@__shamrocks__ - keeping it Irish!).
We ask staff and students to engage with our social media account by following and continuously liking our posts. Every Friday we will run competitions promoting Irish businesses and hospitality organisations so stay tuned on our Instagram and Facebook pages!
This is a wonderful opportunity to represent our University at an International event. Follow our journey to Maastricht to showcase our excellent hospitality management skills.
