Samantha Morris MBs is a researcher in the School of Hospitality Management & Tourism. She obtained her Honours degree in Culture and Heritage from IT Carlow in 2017 and was subsequently awarded the Presidents Research Fellowship Scholarship which enabled her to complete a masters in business by research. Her masters study concerned the influence of local food and authenticity on tourist motivation, satisfaction and revisit intention. Samantha is currently involved in FADE; Festivals Audiences and the Digital Experince, an Irish Research Council COALESC funded project aiming to analyse the implications of the digital turn for the arts festival sector and assess future needs.

Samantha is also currently undertaking PhD research. The title of the research is Using heritage interpretation as a tool for social inclusivity in small towns: a Community Based Participatory Research approach.
