Message from the Dean

Welcome to the Faculty of Business at TU Dublin.

We are a large and diverse community of students, academics, researchers, graduates and enterprise partners, united by a belief in the power of education to create opportunity and make a difference.

Whether you are beginning your undergraduate studies, developing your career through postgraduate or professional education, undertaking research, or returning to education later in life, there is a place for you here. Our programmes span the breadth of contemporary business from accounting, finance and economics to marketing, entrepreneurship, management, human resources, international business, supply chain, retail and more.

What distinguishes a TU Dublin business education is its connection to practice. Our students learn by doing: working on real business challenges, engaging with industry and communities, undertaking placements and projects, and learning from academics and practitioners who bring research and professional experience into the classroom.

Those connections extend well beyond our students. We want organisations to work with us - through student projects and placements, research partnerships, executive and professional education, innovation, and collaboration with our academic expertise. If you have a challenge or an idea that we can work on together, we want to hear from you.

Business education has an important job to do. We must prepare our students to succeed in the world as it is, while giving them the knowledge, confidence and ambition to help shape what comes next. That means developing excellent graduates, producing research that matters, and working alongside enterprise and society to address the challenges ahead.
