Science Undergraduate Research Experience Conference 2020

The SURE Network is delighted to host the award-winning third annual Science Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) conference (SURE2020) on Friday, 16 October 2020.

This national conference will take place online and will be opened by the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Simon Harris, T.D. 

Over 70 science graduates throughout Ireland who completed their Final Year Project in 2019-20 will present their undergraduate research work in both poster and oral presentation formats, under three themes, at SURE2020 hosted this year by CIT, TU Dublin and GMIT:

  1. Analytical, Environmental and Pharmaceutical Science
  2. Health Science and Nutrition
  3. Biological, Sport, Computing, Mathematical and Physical Sciences

The audience will mainly comprise current final year students from across the Irish technological higher education sector and their academic supervisors. 

In addition, the SURE Network is delighted to announce the launch of the second edition of the SURE Network Undergraduate Research Journal SURE-J, as well as the  2020/21 SURE Network National Student survey during the conference. The first edition of the SURE-J journal is available to read here.
