International Business Week 2021 at TU Dublin

The inaugural International Business Week 2021 runs from the 9th to the 11th of February 2021 as part of the seminar series in the Masters in International Business.

An integral part of the MSc International Business, the eclectic range of seminars is delivered by a range of guest speakers and academics, as well as TU Dublin faculty members. Each seminar deals with a topic at the forefront of the discipline of International Business.

International Business Week takes a different focus each day; the first day - Tuesday 9th Feb., takes a look at Business in Africa; Unlocking the Markets of the Continent with Dr. David Nyaluke (PMIA Fellow in Business and Development, UCD) discussing Africa as an emerging market and Kathleen Vaughan (Global Executive Coach and Consultant) will talk about 'Opportunities and Cross-cultural Dimensions of Doing Business in and with Africa'.

On the 10th of February, discover how to do business in Asia as TU Dublin Graduate Denis English (MD Artisan Spirits) will discuss 'Business in Asia & its opportunities today' while Colin Lewis (CMO, Open Jaw Technologies) will talk about 'Doing Digital in China' and Darragh Hudson, (Founder, Product Development at KD Product Development), Hong Kong will discuss innovation in Asian markets.

The final day - Feb 11th - takes a close look at Business in Austria with Josef Treml (Advantage Austria) on 'Irish-Austrian Business Relations & How to do business in Central Europe' and Gerlinde Gahleitner (Austrian Business Agency) discusses 'Business Location Austria', while Benedikt Angerer from Europe's top bitcoin broker Bitpanda will discuss the topic of 'Accelerating the transition to a tokenized world'.
