TU Dublin launches new website to encourage more second-level students to study languages at University

Published: 14 Dec, 2020

We live in a world which is rich in languages and Ireland has its own linguistic heritage; however, knowledge of foreign languages is essential for Ireland’s cultural, social and economic well-being.

To help second-level students understand the opportunities that learning a second language can offer, TU Dublin has created a new website called #languagespathways.

“A new language is a new life.”

Let this proverb inspire your creativity!

This competition invites all language fans to showcase their enthusiasm for languages, new adventures and new friends!

What do you have to do?

You can submit a photo with an audio file or a video (e.g. a song you are working on, or an anime gacha style, or even just your thoughts recorded from your phone). Inspired by the Persian quote ‘A new language is a new life’, tell us how you imagine yourself through your new language!

You can use any, or all, of the languages currently on the website: French, German, Italian, Spanish.

You may use appropriate images, graphics, visuals relating to the target-language culture.
