Examinations/Assessments

Continuing Professional Development students do not take exams, nor do they earn credits toward an award. Students complete a written assignment (essay style) and once they have successfully completed the module receive a Continuing Professional Development Certificate.

Students who wish to use attendance at CPD modules as part of their professional continuing legal education requirements should advise the school office at time of application. Attendance will be recorded and Certificate of Attendance will be provided by the school at the end of each semester.

Students taking CPD modules attend classes with BAORD and LLB students but do not take the end of year examination with them. Completion of any CPD modules will not count as credit toward either the BA ORD or LLB, nor does it satisfy the entry requirements for those courses.
